Espostoopsis dybowskii is a species of cacti and the sole species of its genus (Espostoopsis). Its specific name is formed from Greek (opsis meaning "view"), referring to its resemblance with the genus Espostoa, with which it is often confused. The plant is known from northern Bahia, Brazil.
The genus Espostoopsis has been brought into synonymy with Gerocephalus F.Ritter.
